Expansion of Existing Services

West Cork Rural Transport has been providing essential accessible transport services to many parts of West Cork during the last number of years. In line with National Policy the Group has now been charged with expanding its transport remit for 2008-2010 to include the following areas:

• Macroom (And Environs) Coachford (And Environs)

• Kinsale (And Environs) Bandon (And Environs)

• Clonakilty (And Environs)

The deepening of existing services may also be looked at.

The Irish Government through the NDP 2007-2013, The Departments Transport Community Rural and Gealtacht Affairs, Social and Family Affairs and FAS funds the West Cork Rural Transport Programme.
